It is important that you never try to pull a boat trailer to your towing vehicle by hand, especially with the boat on it. It is much safer and smarter  to move the vehicle to the trailer. Although it is possible to pick up some trailers by hand and move them to the vehicle, it is a risky move, as you may not be able to stop the trailer from rolling once you do get it moving, and this could lead to damage to the towing vehicle. Or, even worse, you may damage yourself and put yourself out of action. When you are trying to get your vehicle in place. It helps to have someone to guide you, and in this way accidents can be avoided.
