When starting my course at art college I certainly did not envisage that my career would take the course that it did. My tutor was very impressed throughout my time at college, at the degree of detail which I incorporated into all of my drawings. No matter what the project was, my composition would always be exact in every detail. For this reason my tutor advised that I consider a career in topographic maps. This involves a great deal of patience and exact drawing. I can say that I love my job and very grateful to my tutor for pointing me in the direction of topographic maps.
