I accompanied my colleague, Dr. Francis Steinham, to the Silver Spring, Md. Home Depot exhibition. He wanted to purchase a trendy bath tub for his new bungalow and readily took advice from the technical reps. The enduring style of the bath tubs and its variety attracted his attention. Being a man of good taste, he chose the free standing bathtubs of the pedestal type with in-built whirlpool for an energized form of relaxed soaking in hot water. It has the advantage of being traditional with a contemporary design element. The rep also took us around to show other types such as claw footed and contemporary.
