Asbestos removal alternative

Asbestos is a sleeping monster that tested the finest minds in the construction industry as to how to go about removing the millions of tons of this unsafe material that were used as a core material in construction for more than fifty years. It was only when construction companies were called on to renovate or demolish some of the early buildings, did it become obvious that handling asbestos presented many challenges, and was a cause of a wide range of respiratory diseases.

For many years, it appeared that the only option was to disassemble the asbestos in whatever form it came in, in its entirety for transportation an approved dumping ground where it could be disposed of. A far from ideal situation, yet the only one available.

Nowadays, asbestos encapsultaion is being increasingly considers as a highly viable alternative to just removing the asbestos. Asbestos is prayed with certain synthetic materials that will prevent it breaking up, and the highly toxic fibers being released into the air. This means that they can be transported with less danger to the handlers as well as the public, with disposal conditions also being much less stringent.
