Can’t decide what color curtains to buy? Neither could I.

When buying curtains, it is often hard to decide on a color. Often, you will find that the style you like is available in more than one color that will match the rest of your decor. My livingroom is decorated in sage green, mauve, and ivory. When I went to buy curtains, I found the panels that I liked, but I wasn’t sure which color to choose. They were available in all three colors. My walls are ivory, so I thought that either the sage green or the mauve would look better against the walls. I had narrowed it down to two of the three colors, but I was unable to decide between the two. I like my curtains to look full. I realized that I would need six panels per window in order to create the look that I was going for. I had an idea. I bought two sage green panels, two ivory panels, and two mauve panels. When I got home, I threaded the panels onto the curtain rods… sage green, ivory, mauve… mauve, ivory, sage green. I put the curtain rods back up, then pulled three panels to each side and secured the tie backs. Since I couldn’t decide on a color, I decided to incorporate all of the colors into my window treatments.
