I have absolutely had it with these radiators.  For the most part, I had gotten used to their racket, and having to bleed the air from the pipes, and the inefficiency.  But now that I am meditating regularly, the sound is driving me crazy.  When the whole house is quiet, except the furnace, it makes it impossible to not hear it.  I’ve decided to get a Goodman Gas Furnace, as much because they’re quiet as because they are so much more efficient than the system I have now.  I am sick and tired of the rattle, pop, psst, hsht and clang of this old furnace.
