Change The Way You Exercise

Formed by Joseph Pilates during World War I, Pilates is a method that was designed to improve the way rehabilitation of returning veterans was conducted. It is believed that there are over 11 million people who are taking Pilates instruction classes and over 14,000 pilates instructors in the United States. People who have opted for pilates instruction find it an extremely effective method to improve strength and flexibility of key muscles of the body. Pilates is also supposed to help improve posture and strengthen the spine. It has been an important part of physical conditioning for many people around the world.
