Wondering About Second-hand Salon Equipment

I’ve been curious lately about second-hand salon equipment.
Money’s tight, and starting a business in this economy is a scary proposition.
I’m checking into my options with regard to used salon equipment for sale. There appear to be some good choices out there. I’m just hoping I can find some pieces in good enough condition.
I figure a new piece of salon furniture will be used after a couple of weeks, anyway. Clients will never know the difference.
