Do You Have to Take A Medical Assistant Test to be a CMA?
There are sometimes people who work in a doctor’s office that have the capabilities and skills in order to be a medical assistant only because they may have had a lot of experience in the field. But these people cannot work on the pay scale or be labeled as a medical assistant until they do take a Medical Assistant Test and be certified by the AAMA which is the American Association of Medical Assistants. Once they get this certification, then they are classified as a medical assistant and can reap the benefits of being one. The certification that you receive will open a lot of doors.
