Have you heard the latest buzz about the importants of vegetable steamers as a part of your everyday food preparation? There was recently a statement by the food and drug administration that states many people eat vegetables but those vegetables provided little to no added health benefit. The reason for this is simple, unless vegetables are raw or steamed the nutrients are simply cooked out of them. Another scary discovery about eating cooked or sauteed vegetables is that not only are there virtually no added benefits but due to many preparation methods these vegetables promote unhealthy weight gain due to the extra calories. If you want the maximum benefits of eating vegetables try them raw or steamed there is no other way to capitalize on their massive amounts of nutrients.
