If you are applying for a legal secretary position, you need to go to your interview with a one page resume and one page cover letter only. You can hand write your references on a sheet of paper and offer them up at the end of your interview, if they are asked for. Your resume should show your ability to organize by the way it is organized on paper. Your cover letter should address the person with whom you have your interview. Be sure to use great grammar and writing skills or you will be eliminated immediately. Finally, let them know during the interview how very interested you are in the job.
