One of the ways to tell if your computer system has been infected with spyware adware is by its behavior. Yes, even an infected computer system will act up when it is sick, one of the tell tale signs something is very wrong if you are paying attention. Unfortunately, if your system is acting up, your problems may go much deeper than you first think as spyware adware has often opened back doors and allowed additional spyware programs to download themselves on to your computer. This is one of the many dangers of this type of program.

Short of doing a scan — which is the highly recommended protocol in this situation — some of the behaviour attributes you can look for as signs your system may be infested are a sharp and marked decline of system performance from unwanted CPU activity, to disk usage and even unwanted network traffic. All of these things can indicate you have inadvertently downloaded some form of spyware adware to your computer system. Additionally you may notice your system freezing more often than not and having your computer crash at the most inopportune times and then failing to reboot once it has. This does make it a challenge to remove the spyware adware from your system, but with a little assiduity, your hard work will pay off and your system will be clean.

How can I convince my boss to make corporate data security a priority? Why must executives always wait until a crisis occurs before taking action? Our company IS our IP. That’s all we are at the end of the day. Yet right now our doors are wide open to even the most rudimentary hacking techniques.
So of course it’s fallen to me to take the initiative to learn more about Corporate Data Security. I’ll also need to find a way to sell it. Perhaps a full-blown risk assessment.
The best part is that I’m the one that will miss 3 days of sleep if this all comes crashing down, not them.

When we are talking about imminent and immediate threats to computer networks, we should also discuss what exactly is a Network Security Threats.

There are a lot of phishing scams on the internet. It is important that you do not click on any links from unsolicited emails. Often these emails will direct you to update your account details. The problem is that the sites that you are sent to are not really the sites that they are purporting to represent. The idea behind the scam is to get people to volunteer their details so that they can be used for the purposes of identity theft. This can ultimately injure you if you fall into the trap.
