Twelve years ago my then-boyfriend told me I the tiny shop I’d bought would never succeed. I am a dreamer with a big vision and small bankroll. The only shop I could afford was dark, crowded, and in an offbeat part of town where you could find everything from flea markets to street carnivals. I bought it anyway.
