Some Sort Of Appreciation
As an employee, I understand how important it is to feel like your work is being recognized by your employer. After putting in so much commitment and loyalty to the company you work for, you look for some sort of appreciation. This does not always mean promotions, but also simpler things like Employee Christmas Gifts. Anything that makes you feel like you are being noticed for your hard work is better than nothing at all. Things like that are a huge source of motivation in the work force. It does not matter how stressful the work can get, when you know that you are appreciated, you will do your best.
