PRINCE2: Refresh is the latest iteration of the project management methodology developed by the British government in the late 1980s. That method was developed to manage large-scale information technology projects, but later evolved and is now used in a wide variety of projects in parts of Western Europe and in Australia. A prince2 project management course is a good idea for those new to the method. PRINCE2 uses, and works with, many other project management standards, but has some of its own unique twists and rules as well. Many people believe this method is suitable only for larger scale projects, but there are those that use it for smaller projects as well.
