What Do Patent Laws Ensure

It takes an inventor's hard work, his time and ability for him to come up with an invention. Now, if someone else gets to use his inventions for no payment patent pending of any kind, it would certainly be unjust. So, in order to prevent it patents laws and trademarks laws have been enacted.

A creation belongs to the creator and patent laws seek to keep it that way. Patent protection means that the inventor has the primary right for a certain period of time. And after the expiry of the period the patented technology, process or design comes into public domain.
